A much better ER & Hospital is only 10 min further North, The Henry Medical Center in Paris. Do your life a favor and keep driving past McKenzie!
For minor stuff ok for major stuff go to Jackson TN the hospital in McKenzie I would say is to sustain you until you get higher care like in Jackson TN they just don't have the specialists etc in McKenzie so take it like you want but in my opinion this is what this place is.
The emergency room and the doctors, nurses and support staff are the most incompetent, rude, uncaring and should not be in the medical health care industry let alone anything where they interact with other humans. McKenzie Regional Hospital is well know in the area as the place to go to die!
Worst place I have ever been in my life arrives here 10 min prior to appt time and waited 45 min before I walked out
CEO and couple of administrative employees are incredibly unprofessional and rude. I am not one to complain but I have never had an encounter with people this rude. Multiple employees have talked about how hard of a place it is to work here, but I can't personally be a judge of that because I don't work there. New company bought them out so hopefully Kerri Stepp and the CEO are replaced.
