KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING CHARGED FOR UP FRONT FROM THIS COMPANY. On Sept 8th 2017 I ordered 6.5 yards of cement, along with key joint and stakes. I payed In advance for this over $900.00 dollars to be delivered Monday Sept 11th. The driver did an outstanding job, but we ended up being about one half yard short. The concrete guy Robert said he figured properly, and driver stated he had 6.5 yards. Unfortunately we had torequest another yard of concrete, and I knew I would have to pay for a full yard, when we needed only half. When driver got back I recieved a new bill for the yard of cement with a $30 fuel charge on It, and a $75 dollar small load charge on the bill, ended up being another $240 dollars for 1 yard of concrete, when I just bought 6.5 yards also. I called Mid way metals to try to come to some kind of compromise, but no way, and I saw on bill where I also had payed a $30 fuel surcharge on the 1st delivery. So, I bought from them 7.5 yards of concrete, key joint and pins, $60 dollars total in fuel surcharges, and $75 dollars in small load fee. So, If you get concrete from them beware, for I was NOT made aware of this till after they delivered the 2nd load. You have to buy so much concrete to not pay the small load fee.. I'll make sure that next time when I get concrete, as I will need alot more in future, order the minimum amount and let them come out 3 or 4 times, to be sure I dont get ripped off again..I've been In trucking for 36 years even now owning my own company , and I'm here to tell youI will always compromise with my customers in a fairly manner to keep business good
